New Jersey Beach Wedding - Bride and Groom

I recently had the great pleasure to provide a beach bride with sea glass jewelry to give as gifts to her wedding party.

Including this cobalt blue sea glass necklace accented with a sea horse. I designed it as a special order to give to the bride’s mom, who loves sea horses and the color blue:

Sea Horse Blues

Check it out here, worn by the bride’s mother:

Outer Banks Beach Weddings

cape-hatteras-light make-a-splash

When I was in the Outer Banks last year, I had the great fortune to come upon two beach weddings. The first was an older couple, who had an oh-so-casual ceremony with an intimate number of guests. It was very sweet to watch from a short distance away as I walked along the beach.

The second was a larger affair farther down the beach where cars were allowed on the beach. Little flower girls in long dresses, but barefoot, ran among the guests. When the wedding ended, the bridal party departed on the back gate of an open pick-up truck that drove slowly away.

Each wedding was lovely in its own way, both very carefree in the beautifully natural setting of the Outer Banks!

Imagine this “Pearls and the Sea” coral toggle necklace (below) as part of a stunning ensemble for the beach bride. Featuring coral from the Outer Banks, the coral toggle clasp is meant to be worn in the front as a focal point.

love lettersEndless Sunner designs are perfect for weddings! This set of “Love Letters” wine charms (left) was recently purchased from my Endless Sunner shop as a gift for the buyer’s niece and her fiance. I’m so honored to play a role in someone’s wedding!

heart and soulSea glass is a wonderful choice for a beach wedding. Consider this heart-shaped sea glass necklace (right) discovered on a secret beach on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Heart-shaped sea glass is special — it’s so rare!

pearls and the seaOr how about adding coral to the traditional pearls (left)? In this Endless Sunner design, “Pearls and the Sea”, traditional pearls take on an anything-but-traditional air. This elegant necklace features a unique coral toggle closure with coral from North Carolina’s Outer Banks. The coral toggle, hand-wrapped in copper, is designed to be worn in front as a striking focal point! It would be lovely for a beach wedding.

coral reef necklaceBrides often envision the most beautiful, non-traditional jewelry as part of their special beach wedding day. For example, I recently received an e-mail from a future bride, admiring this Endless Sunner necklace, “Coral Reef” (left), to be worn with the gorgeous gown shown below, for her beach wedding on Sanibel Island, Florida. How naturally elegant is that? And it’s so poetically romantic that the exquisite coral featured in this necklace was originally found washed ashore on Sanibel Island!
